More than twenty years ago I met the love of my life. When we contemplated our future family, we thought we’d have about six children. We just didn’t realize we would have six children each (12 total). I was excited with the addition of each new baby, but I remember struggling with young children under foot and feeling the pressure to be perfect. I remember struggling with children that didn’t get along. I remember when my two-year old was diagnosed with autism. I remember my children making choices that took them to different paths. It has been an amazing journey filled with joy and peppered with learning experiences.
