Babies Don’t Keep

I’ve really been trying to follow my own advice and watch my babes with love and soak them all in.  I thought I would share a stanza from a favorite poem of mine:

Oh, cleaning and scrubbing will wait till tomorrow,
But children grow up, as I’ve learned to my sorrow.
So quiet down, cobwebs. Dust, go to sleep.
I’m rocking my baby. Babies don’t keep.
